A poacher is a thief who steals wildlife that belongs to you and all other Georgians.  Poachers rob you of recreational opportunities that you pay for through hunting and fishing license fees.  You can be paid for turning in a poacher!  If your TIP leads to an arrest, arrangements will be made for you to receive reward money even if you wish to remain anonymous.  If you see or learn of a violation, try to write down: a description of the violator; a description of their vehicle; the location of the violation; and the type of violation.

Georgia DNR Law Enforcement has partnered with the Hunt Regs App to provide an easy, free, and effective way for citizens to report illegal hunting and fishing activities. It streamlines the reporting process by providing an interactive form where users can submit violations with just a few taps on their mobile devices or computers.

Hunt Regs App logoTo report illegal hunting or fishing activity now, click on the Hunt Regs App icon on the left and enter the information requested. A report will be immediately sent to the Game Warden assigned to the county where the violation occurred. All information is strictly confidential, and you can remain anonymous.

You can still call the Ranger Hotline, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, at 1-800-241-4113 (or *DNR for AT&T Mobility Customers), and you can also send information directly to the Game Warden using the Hunt Regs App Reporting Form.
